Specialized Experience: Experience applying military personnel principles, concepts, legal requirements, and procedures in the interpretation and application of law. Experience with the interrelationships of military personnel programs and automated systems supporting such programs. Responsibility for directing a human resources management program. MAJOR DUTIES:

Accomplish/monitor/direct accomplishment of military personnel functions for Command. Initiate/recommend action to implement programs designed to provide optimum manning/personnel support. Review & interpret regulations/directives/reports pertinent to these functions. Provide assistance to units on military personnel matters. Maintain liaison & make visits/inspections. Counsel/advise on benefits of Army Reserve Program, promotional opportunities, career planning, military education, training, related subjects. Maintain statistical data & prepare reports on civilian personnel. Review personnel action requests submitted to insure compliance with policy/ regulation. Develop budgetary input relative to military personnel administration operations. Provide budget projections based upon historical data, known priorities, special exercises/projects, mission changes which affect budget requirements. Investigate congressional inquiries to determine facts of each case & compose command response.
