In this role, you will provide physical and psychosocial assessments of clients as well as their family members. Duties include administering treatments, determining schedules of care, overseeing the work of aides & companions, communicating patient status, receiving/clarifying physician orders, and performing other functions as needed.
This graduate of an accredited school of nursing is an RN with effective verbal/written communication, customer service, organizational and time-management skills. Recent experience in home care is desired.
HOME SUPPORT AIDE
Job ID: 5824
Utilizing your Nursing or Geriatric Nursing Aide Certificate, you will provide outstanding social, personal and some healthcare-related services for clients. Responsibilities include assisting with tooth/mouth, grooming and bathing care, plus helping clients eat, dress and move about physically. Following RN orders, you will take temperatures & pulses, measure intake/output, keep records, respond to emergency situations and arrange schedules to help clients follow medial orders. You may be called upon to perform simple tests, change dressings, etc. Other duties include preparing and serving meals, plus performing housekeeping, shopping and laundry functions. Requires Nursing Aide or Geriatric Nursing Aide certification.
